But let's start with the night before, which has me sick and puking. Just one of those things, right?
So I get up in the morning, having decided I'd go to the university campus in the morning and look for a job.
I show up there at 7:30, and I decide to hang out at the library until the rest of the campus opens.
So I take my book, Only Revolutions, and head upstairs to the top floor, references. It's pretty quiet up there, so I can relax for a while.
I get up there, and there is only one other person, a goth girl. She's apparently doing some work, as she has a pile of books in front of her, as well as one of those really nice professional cameras. She's pretty cute, and I wave and say hi as I pass. She blushes and sorta nods, which is always a surprise to me. (I don't think I'm that cute or anything.)
So I head over about 20 feet to one of those cubicle-tables. I'm feeling like shit still, but whatever, right? So I start to read my book, which is one of the most confusing things I've ever read.
Now it get's interesting. See, as far as I can tell, I passed out. I do that when I'm sick sometimes, and I'm REALLY out when that happens. I did it at a party once, and seeing as they couldn't wake me, my friends just hauled me out and tossed me in the car when they moved to another party.
So I wake, and get up, feeling like I have a crown of thorns INSIDE my head. Then I notice everything being off.
I was sitting on the floor, 5 feet from the table where I passed out. I was propped against the wall, stretched out with my legs straight. My hat was sitting on the floor to my left, and my gloves were sitting on the right, stacked with my cell phone between them. My book is sitting on my lap, and my scarf has been pulled out of my coat where I had it and looped around my neck.
And the goth girl with the camera is gone.
Now, I have two possibilites.
1) I had a blackout, and I can't remember moving and doing all that. Improbable, because even during a moment like that I'm still me, and I NEVER take my hat off when I'm sleeping in public. Also, when I sleep on a floor I tend to curl up in a ball with the nearest wall to my back (it's a comfort thing). Anyway, it all seems a little prepared to be me...
which leades to the other option...
2) I passed out, fell out of the chair. Girl tries to figure out what's wrong, can't wake me and...
poses me?
takes a picture?
I really don't know.
But I feel I may have missed something interesting.
